Costa Rica, a country known for its incredible biodiversity and breathtaking landscapes, offers travelers a chance to immerse themselves in nature unlike anywhere else.

Nestled in the heart of Rincon National Park at the base of Rincon Volcano is Vandará, a hidden gem that offers guests the opportunity to escape, explore and experience authentic Costa Rica.

With convenient access, Vandará is located on over 350 acres and has awe-inspiring views of volcanoes, natural thermal pools, tree-top canopy, cultural experiences, and more; it is the perfect setting to reconnect with nature and indulge in an unforgettable journey.

Our guests can choose what activities they’d like to experience with two convenient passes. Vandará’s Nature Pass is tailored for individuals wishing to relax and reconnect with nature. Our customer favorite is Vandará’s Explorer’s Pass. This pass gives our guests access to every activity at Vandará and includes a highly trained and experienced guide.

With the Vandará Nature Pass, guests walk across a hanging bridge to rejuvenate in a variety of natural thermal pools and can play at the base of a waterfall. The soothing mineral mud, applied to guests’ faces and bodies, is part of the Vandará thermal springs experience. The smooth volcanic mud is imbued with healing properties leaving the skin soft and refreshed. While on hiking trails or exploring the organic garden at Vandará, watch for vibrant birds and playful monkeys. You’ll meet Carmelo during the cultural experience while participating in a hands-on experience learning about coffee and sugar cane and tasting local desserts cooked over the open fire.

Our customer favorite, the Vandará Explore Pass, gives guests full access to everything Vandará has to offer.  Most guests start their day horseback riding along scenic trails, then experience a traditional tree-top canopy tour that takes you over the Tizate River. Hike through a thousand orchid trees, and enjoy an exhilarating jungle waterslide, the longest in Costa Rica.

Guests enjoy all of Vandará at their own pace, arrive when they want, and leave when they want – all day. Both passes include free lunch, coffee, fruit drinks, and free parking.

Many of Vandará’s fruits and vegetables are grown onsite in the organic gardens and orchards, adding to the traditional lunch customers enjoy.

What to bring to enjoy a full day of fun at Vandará:
